Cheerful little recap, I'm tempted to say that nothing happens looking at the recap/canon ratio but at least we get a sneak peak of Brook's old crew.

Even with a recap, It's a really great refresher episode for people who might've forgotten details about Twin Capes and Laboon The Laboon episode was like back in 2001, i was barely born back then lol And this one released in 2008 7 years with a weekly anime can be rough (1999 to 2007 for the manga readers)

Often times we don't care for filler/recap but I think this is one moment where the recap is really needed, its been so long since Laboon and this is the moment that it is finally tying back into the main story. You can tell based on the recap that alot of this was kind of setup and planned by oda.
