Honestly, as much as this arc drags compared to the manga I think the finale is set-up much better than the one in the manga. It just feels so much more high stakes.

Rewatching this arc I’m liking it a lot more than I remembered. Actually, I think this episode is hands down the best one in this arc. Rewatching this makes me realize it was actually the manga canon ending of this arc that I disliked and not the extra filler episodes they added to the arc
