To clarify, the weapon: Pluton was built in ancient times and they kept a blueprint in case it ever fell into the wrong hands and they needed to make a second one to fight it. The King of Alabasta confirmed with Robin that the location of the original Pluton IS recorded on Alabasta's Poneglyph, but she lied to Crocodile. Since Robin can find the original, Iceburg's blueprints for a counter weapon are still needed. This is why he wants to kill her.
