This reaction was way too funny for an episode I had literally forgot existed😭 And yeah Oda loooves playing with his characters' sizes quite a lot, to the point where it is more of a narrative device (i.e. emphasizing somebody's power, etc.) most of the time than an actual in-world thing that he has to keep consistent lol...but sometimes it's just plain dumb & it def gets even wackier than the Laboon one lmao

Fun fact, the 4Kids dub of One Piece ended exactly at the ship falling on them, so as far as 4Kids dub lore goes, the straw hats literally died right then and there and the story was no more lmao. I love how much exposition dumps are now possible simply with Robin tagging along.
