Didn't mention it a few episodes back, since we hadn't gotten his devil fruit revealed yet, and I'm probably reading too much into this lol, but I always thought that it was quite ironic, that the one guardian deity of Arabasta that represents Anubis – the God, who leads souls to the afterlife – was the person to make the dumb call, that lead millions of Arabasta's citizens into a pointless death

Her idea was basically to surrender/stop the Rebellion to move people out of there, rather than just going around yelling about a bomb and inciting more panic and anger

Chaka really has the biggest dawg in him. I guess there really isn't any recovery from seeing your leader get taken out in the most cowardly and weaselly way just right after they announced surrender.

Ok so I checked the manga and apparently the The Kicking Claw Force guys were in it. I didn't read the Alabasta arc in the manga, just the anime and I swear I didn't remember these guys at all.
