Also never felt it was fanservicy, especially since Kui just in general draws a lot of Sapphic art.

So, since you are wondering, the bath scene is in the manga as well. It is actually framed very similarly. In animation it feels a bit sexier, I guess, because it is animated and in color, but the camera mostly focus on their heads. To me at least it doesn't really feel very fanservicey in either media. Of course it is a bath scene and the author made a decision to set the scene there, but it never felt the camera (or panels) went out of the way to highlight the bodies, which is when fan service bothers me the most. The panty shot is an anime original though. Both panty shots, in fact, in the manga Senshi's was hidden as well (the manga has plenty Senshi panty shots, but not here).
