Gedatsu is sort of the opposite. He looks scary, but is actually quite goofy. But he is also quite dangerous when he can reign in his weirdness.

Its the classic "don't judge a book by its cover" or "appearences can be decieving" and you will see this alot in one piece. Just because there mannerisms are silly and they look goofy, does not mean they are weak. Can't wait for you to see all of oda's wacky characters in the future.
