You actually kind of guessed the random origin of the plot twist. Oda said that while doing sketch models, he tested drawing Ms. Wednesday with her hair down instead of a ponytail, and said "Wow she looks like a princess now!" Almost a last minute thing. And the rest is history...the story was changed forever. 👍
