I love how Usopp is only a coward if he is alone....Anytime innocent citizens are about to get hurt he always fights without a second thought.

The Sanji thing is true, however Kishimoto actually went and asked Oda if he could use the name Naruto for his new ninja protagonist. Oda and Kishimoto are very close friends.

Arlong is by far the best constructed arc in East Blue, IMO. It's really noticeable in how the buildup works and how the fighting goes (even if the anime does add a bit of padding, it's just a little bit). (By the way, do you prefer comments here or on youtube? Does it even matter?)
