Occult horror does nothing for me, whereas the The Thing is not only a wonderful movie but something that could happen. For a horror movie to be evocative for me it must at a minimum be something that could happen to me.

Honestly, I can't do horror, so I won't be partaking in the poll. However, I still wanted to chime in and say I appreciate the idea. Very festive. :)

I've seen a million horror movies and kinda hate them all now coz they're all either dumb or cookie cutter crap. Of all the horror movies in the past 15 years, Hereditary is imo one of the rare decent ones
