Glad to see someone has more of an appreciation for the openings/endings of anime. I am kind of the same way. I will watch an anime with the opening 30 times before I get tired of it. Just the way I grew up on anime. But yeah, the time synced to avoid the recap will definitely make your experience watching OP feel less of a drag.

we will do that eventually, but we don't mind watching the opening at this point we watch the ops for pretty much everything we watch so its not that big a deal right now for us

Yeah, I'd recommend this as well. Almost every single episode is going to have a 2-3 minute-ish recap at the beginning. You might as well skip it along with the opening.

So hey carson, what Ishinobi does is just have a little time stamp for when the episode actually starts beyond the recap and opening so you don't have to react to these every episode so the viewers can synce up to that time. Then he just mentions at the start of each video "Ok guys episode starts at 4:30, at 3, 2, 1, GO"

I mean there kind of familar with that watching naruto. That had more recap then even one piece.

There is soo much more development with usopp here then what the live action did lol and there is still alot of this arc left to go.

don't mind their sense of direction, it's mostly just for separation especially for Zoro's fights... yeah, Syrup Village arc is the weakest arc in East Blue
