Yeah this is clearly a situation were in the Live action they have to promote the main characters as the heroes of the story. All the people watching want to see them join and fight together. Nami how ever had her own agenda and different views about pirates in the canon story. So its altered. Which makes the arlong arc so much more of an natural twist when the anime gets there.

The fun thing about Buggy's Nose is that even if it comes off, that's Buggy's whole thing, he can detach and reattach parts of himself at will, it's as if Oda is saying, you'll never know.

Yeah, almost all of Zoro's sword moves are Japanese puns. And a lot of them are food puns XD.

One of the things I love in One piece is the story building. I understand why ppl say one piece is slow but at least for me( Ive caught up to the anime and read a few chapters of the manga) I always felt like the story hooked me in. It’s not perfect, there are definitely parts in the show where I feel like it could have been a few episodes more short. But personally, it never ruined my experience because the story and character development was just that good to me. Also that least for me, even if the episodes were “slow” it’s still very entertaining. I’m just really glad you guys are enjoying it and I hope you continue to enjoy it overall.

I understand why they made it that way on the live action but i like how in the anime you see Nami being like no i won't join you to slowly reconsidering it while seeing how Luffy and Zoro are differents than the pirates she knows
