Yeah the flashback plays out a lil different in the manga but Dalton makes the comparison how "in Alabasta, a child of 10" shows capabilities of being a better leader than Wapol

Fun fact, I started watching One Piece around 8 years ago, but I didn't make the connection that I also always had the middle initial "D" until a few years ago. It was mind-blowing and embarrassing.

Also, the flashback happens 10 years prior, as stated by Dalton. so the 5~6 years was at least 4 years before current time. EDIT: Nope, I'm wrong here, my mistake, it was actually 6 years ago, as pointed by Veritas.

Classic One Piece dumps crazy lore out of nowhere and switches back to random crew shenanigans with no elaboration. Bruh Lindsay is wild for that 'Garp/Roger cucking' theory, I almost spat whatever I was drinking when I heard it. Love how cool Ace looked until he broke it up by running away all goofy-looking. I love how you guys straight-jumped into making connections of past names and the D thingy. glad that Carson brought up Krieg D. on, but what about the man himself, Buggy D. Clown. I guess for now, it's enough to know that whoever has the D got that Dawg in them.

You guys FINALLY made it to alabasta, the arc that was responsible for elevating the manga into mainstream popularity which forced oda into creating a much larger expansive story. The world will begin to open up even more now. Enjoy the ride because it only gets better from here.
