Another show that you could react to is Castlevania, with the sequel coming out in september, it's a great time to react to it, also a great fucking show

i do like the show but they completely cut out all the comic industry satire and jokes that make invincible the series it is in favor of a more basic plotline and kinda made not as interesting changes to amber or the best friend

yeah we're on the same page there for sure steven yeun definitely hit it out of the park. So did Sandra Oh (shoutout canada) and obviously JK Simmons is good in anything. W episode. not sure it completely made up for all my flaws for the season, but separately, it was VERY great

I wasn't sold on Mark's character until this final episode. I didn't dislike him throughout the story or anything, but I also wasn't really invested very much in him. Like you mentioned, for the majority of the first season, Mark is your typical teenage superhero, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, just not what I was watching the show for, similar to you two. However, that changed for me once he finally finds out about Nolan and stands up to him knowing full well he's no match for him. "I don't give a shit about Viltrum, and I don't care if I live a fuckin' million years, this is my home, and I won't let you destroy it!" That line delivery from Steven Yeun gives me chills every time.

There is an atom eve special that just dropped yesterday. Its 50 minutes long and sets up some things for season 2. A reaction to the season 2 trailer would also be nice.
