I would highly recommend avoiding R3 entirely. Its borderline offensive. The movie itself is obviously a cash grab that doesn't do any justice for any character, and comes off as insulting in the end. I watched it when it came out subbed, and it disgusted me so badly, i haven't even gone back to watch the dub. Everything happens 'to make the plot move forward' every character acts contradictory to their established personalities, everyone is boiled down to single notes, the 'twists and turns' are borderline ass pulls. R3 can be summarized as a 'turn your brain off movie', if you payed attention to the show at all, its terrible. Terrible enough I refuse to watch those recap movies with those extra scenes, no amount of ret conning can make R3 worthwhile...

i recommend watching the movies on the side just to get those new scenes in. this way you can skip around the older content so u dont rewatch the same thing. but yeah i think its mainly 1 thing that was rly significant change

Not sure if that is really necessary. They are basically the series with scenes removed and some new scenes added. But I don't remember thinking much that is was worth watching those. If I'm not forgetting something, there is only 1 really big change.
