Man, this episode still makes me teary eyed like a baby. I don't know what it is, but Togashi knows how to write some of the most heartfelt dialogue. Unconditional love is definitely the right phrase. I had always theorized/wondered about Kite's ability to "not die" and you brought up a point I never thought about but obviously makes the most sense, especially when you consider what Nen is. Of course, emotions mean everything!
