Oh I see its a thing in One Piece universe, i thought the cup thing was exclusive only for Sabo, Ace, Luffy and later the captains who pledge to be Luffy's aid when needed... That was brave for him to give the cup back to BM😭

This is such an EXCITING series of events! Jimbeis speech is extremely powerful and makes me think back to how proud Fisher Tiger would have been! Also on a side note, I love how even when all hope seems lost and Luffy is in a tight spot - he still laughs at Brooks jokes LMAO

If you didn’t understand the purpose of the sake cup that jimbei handed back, pirates usually drink a sake cup with a captain to signify that they are allies or joined the crew, so when jimbei gave it back to Big Mom it was basically him saying “our allyship is over and I’m not a part of your crew anymore”
