Just remember that tattoo's or haki coating (black coating) is just a visual indicator for us to know when some character is using haki. In the "real world" (normal persons inside OP) that black coating is not visible (so the G4 transformation looks different for us because that coating).

His gear 4 just feels so out of this world, from his face, tattoo's, to his face.. he looked more intimidating, like a complete different person!! Kind of as scary as all the big names we encountered so far! Love gear 4 so much!

This gear 4 reveal always makes me cry!!!!! I always think about all the hardships that Luffy and the crew has had to go through, and the moments like Sabody where Luffy just wanted to be strong enough to protect his friends!
