True! This episode was intense, Oda successfully made us feel inflicted by this silly yet impactful story line. And plus this fit Sanji's character so much, and made this 100x funnier when i recall this scene LOL

everyone hates on sanji for this moment, but i simply think it was oda's way of bringing in the issue of racism between humans and fishmen and actually make us invested in the issue by putting a crew member's life on the line (in this case, sanji's life). it's ridiculous yeah, but impactful xD if it was some random character's life we wouldn't care as much.
