I like otohime’s persistence and selflessness. Is it foolish sometimes? Yes, but she knows that no one except her is willing to take those steps towards a better future, and that is why she does something that in hindsight is so foolish and naive. She is the only one who truly supports her own cause after fisher tiger died, and that is why she is going to crazy heights to achieve her goal. It is her duty as queen to show her people the way, even at the cost of her own life.
