I like how the show has apparently decided to ignore the fact that Jackson is supposed to be the town selectman now and running the town meetings. The dynamic works way better with Taylor, but I do find it weird that this isn't addressed.

Joe

😭😭I love him!

Great! When trying to skip it, you also have to be really fast as it gets spoilery early on.

Joe

Left a reminder for when i get to that ep

Daphneejen

I second this!

Yasemin

Hey Joe, is there a way for you to skip the recap at the beginning of a specific EP? If so, I am strongly suggesting you skip the recap before EP 8.

Hope

One of Richard’s best episodes for sure. I feel like him & Lorelai’s relationship is underrated for a lot of people but it holds a special place in my heart. 🥰 Obviously neither are perfect but there’s a softness between that I appreciate.

I thought this wouldn't be as fun as it turned out to be (street name stuff etc). And I also appreciate all the Lorelai-Kirk interactions - just recently read something about how wholesome their relationship often is, and I guess I'm noticing it more now.

Oh yeah the Birken bag is the “main” bag on the luxury designer market that is worth more every year, and even more on the resale market as you can’t easily buy it in store

K

The value of the pink Birkin Bag was inflated by being on Gilmore Girls. Apparently to buy them new you have to go on a waiting list.

Did you google Birkin Bags? Edit: Yes you did look it up LOL. Also, DUDE, didn't you catch that scene Lorelai says, "I'm starved! - Crash landed in the Andes eat my team mates starved." She's referring to the Society of the Snow, the Peruvian football players that we've all just watched that movie about!!! haha it's at like 22:30 ish in the video.
