yeah i cut out a lot of us talking about that, because we somehow forgot that super imprtant detail. And yeah i know he said cloud style, but for one of his moves he clearly said "crescent moon slice" and the last time we saw that move was when hayate used it against baki. And we see a similar move (i think the exact same one but correct me if I'm wrong) by tobirama in a flashback later on in the series

In 262 Omoi didn't use leaf style swordsmanship, he called it Cloud style: Back slice (or something, definitely said cloud style though). And they knew about Kabuto using the reanimated ninja because he attacked the Tsuchikage with Deidara on their way to meet up with the allied force.

Also never explained very well in the manga or anime. Edo Tensei literally translates as Impure World Resurrection. In Shinto, you go to the Pure Lands when you die and are purified of the burdens of life/sin/etc. Do you remember way back when Zabuza said that he did not think that he would go to the same place as Haku? That was a reference to dying but not going to the Pure Lands.

Regarding your confusion in Naruto Shippiden 262, it is not well stated earlier but becomes apparent later. They are using the Yamanakas to communicate telepathically with all their forces in almost real time. That's how some of what Team Anko found out got relayed.

thats fair, I just figured they were making a lot of leaps in logic that while accurate and plausible were not necessarily the most expectable conclusions. it makes sense, but it just feels like a *bit*of a stretch thats all

in ep 262: it wasnt a lucky guess at all, they know of kabuto's reanimation because he used it when capturing yamato. the intel was spread right before Gaara's big speech
