Every sports anime have a targeted audience of kids.

yeah I think Haikyuu is the best anime to start sport anime

If you are going to watch a sports anime Iβd recommend Haikyuu. What makes Haikyuu so good is how motivating it is and it lies more on the side of realism, not entirely of course. Kuroko no Basket is good and worth watching, but itβs personally not my favorite. Eyeshield 21 is also very good, not sure about the anime though because I read the manga; however, there is on part in the manga that ages terribly and is hard to read. There is also Ping Pong which is probably my favorite sports anime, but it is seinen so itβs a pretty different experience compared to the others.

I wouldnβt call Kuroko a sports anime itβs more of a shounen with sports if that makes sense
