Like you literally check out when sheโs on screen just because, which may explain why you feel like her being the way she is came out of nowhere.

When it comes to Tess, youโre mixing up disliking a character with them actually being bad. Tess hasnโt even done anything to deserve the hate. ๐

Bruh the Tess hate IS REAL loooool!! I'd argue the ending of this episode kinda showed and justified her crazy attachment to Clark/Kal-el and his destiny etc., which is definitely then bolstered through the inheritance of all that knowledge/information regarding Clark/Kal-el from both Lex and Lionel. Towards the end of the episode here we see that it seemed as if she was on the orders of whatever was in that Orb. I don't think you caught it but the last line was "Then you will be the Savior of Kandor". Which is a tease of what might be the explanation of what seems to be the quick/odd shift in her character
