This was my first time watching Whiplash and it definitely proved why its loved by so many people. I literally screamed "Supergirl" when Nicole (Melissa Benoist) showed up lolll, i love everything shes in. Yeah i was really expecting a "I know the truth" moment to come at the jazz club or even as a smart remark to Fletcher saying "Wtf are you doing" That ending scene was the dad I felt was the perfect chance to come full circle from the family basically not caring at the dinner to letting his son do what he loves. I had to pause and finish this in the morning cause i had to sleep for work and i kept sitting up in my bed loll.
