Bizarre lifeform
🕑 Added 2024-01-03 21:36:47 +0000 UTCNot much of a visual this week since I've mostly been working on enemy behavior. People who played the XI.Justice demo might have noticed that enemies have more interesting behavior than the enemies in the pre-alpha demo (for example the purple bandit regularly shouts, alerting other nearby enemies).
One of these new enemies is the mysterious lifeform in this post. It looks perfect for some combat training. However, under certain circumstances, it might get angry:

This enemy will have a role in the next special demo that will be presented to Crimson Moon supporters. More info about this will follow soon!

One advantage to offering Lovense compatibility is that they will feature your game on their website, which could expand your audience by a great deal. Please see what they did for "Karryn's Prison" which is also an RPG Maker game made by a single Japanese creator. You can find the creator at https://twitter.com/Remtairy and perhaps ask him if he had a good experience with the company, and if implementing controls with their products is easy.

There is a plan for rumble support for dualshock 4 controllers (and it probably also works for other gamepads that support rumble). π€ The plan is to use this both like in traditional games, but also in certain situations. However, I have no clue how to interact with Lovense toys. Might consider it if itβs relatively easy to add on top of normal rumble. π€

It looks like a living Lovense toy. I'm joking! But have you heard of the RPG Maker game "Karryn's Prison" which can connect to Lovense toys, giving sensations to the player at the same time as the character experiences them? Have you ever considered implementing that kind of connectivity?
