Unlike the shadows in the first stratum, enemies such as the bandits have more complex behavior. Reducing their HP to 0 will knock them out, but after some time they will wake up again.
To prevent this, Lily can tie them up with their own bindings:
Once they're tied up, they will vanish after a while:
(I have uploaded a short video clip in the patron-chat channel on the Discord server for those who want to see the process in action.)
This feature is still early in development, so some things might still change, but this at least shows the general idea. π

Indeed, too late (it would clash with some implementations I did), and also it would blow up time/budget (which was the reason why I rejected it in initial planning).

I wonder if it's too late to Live2D the Lily portrait, so she can have some movement when struggling.

Since I still need to modify some important systems, it will still be some time until a new full playable demo is available. Stratum 2 is planned to be included in this alpha demo which we hope to release in summer 2024. (More details will follow soon in a post.) While waiting for the big demo in summer 2024, there will be some smaller demos for patrons of the Crimson Moon tier. (More info about the patron-exclusive demo planned for February 2024 will also follow soon.)
