Huh. Kinda makes me think a bit of, of all movies, "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension". Paying homage to a number of things all thrown into the kitchen sink--only difference being, I figure you'd say "Buckaroo Banzai" did it better.
