I believe they explode themselves before getting killed so you couldnt get their core and make one a pet May its some sorf of a skill or mutation? Detonate yourself when getting low enough?

I wonder if the stratum is somehow sapient aside from the dungeon spirit or whatever it is that talks to everyone? The Krath can’t report back much if Anthony just squishes them or better yet levitates and roasts them. Hopefully Anthony can pick up a mythic core from this thing. We need mythic Crynis!
