Also, what’s with the lack of hugs in this series, I understand that ants don’t really have arms and need to hug but it would’ve been nice to have Enid give a hug to Antony at some point, I’m sure he would’ve appreciate it

He can't. He is incapable of even fitting in the same room. Heck... if Enid is any higher than the 4th then he can't even be in the same general location as her. He can communicate with her using the vestibule, but that's about it.

Honestly I’m surprised none of the humans have consumed ant biomas yet. Especially a little nibble of the eldest blood could have some interesting effects maybe a bite of Crynis for the human nameless faithful. If there is no stigma attached to being a monster and you even worship one then why not become one. Maybe they can figure out an acceptable balance so the changes are better then what the legion does to people. All those forbidden things the legion use to do… Brilliant can probably deduce some interesting things.

What a tease, why introduce something like this and not save Enid? The idea of someone seeing as much as she has and passing up the opportunity to see more is nonsense. And merchant is right, she is selfish. Enid is the strongest bond the colony has to humanity. She should be there when the colony finally convinves the world and the Legion that they are a real nation/civ and here to stay. Such a wasted opportunity for Anthony to essentially perform a miracle and elevate her to another new class within his vestibule.

I don't really see that. The entire thing Anthony tries to stress to the colony is that everyone is free to make their own decisions. Enid made her decision. While I definitely see him being sad about it, I don't see him doing that in light of how important free will is to him. He's even insistent about Crinis, Tiny, and Invidia being independent and making their own decisions. I just don't see it.

Wasn’t she in a chapter with the old lady who came to investigate the ants? Was really expecting her to stick around. I could still see Anthony stealth drugging her and then hiding it poorly

Thanks for the chapter! I love Enid, and she wouldn't be who she is if she took it. She has always been a old lady working when she should be resting. She deserves her rest. But im gonna miss her.
