Not super happy with his choices. Mainly not sure why he selected so many active combat skills/spells. Should he be selecting stuff that buffs his minions? And more so passively buffs them at creation time. He said before him becoming a caster to personally contribute to battle (back when he was considering possible third subclasses) was a bad choice. One I agreed with. Same with his run and dodge skills. Seems odd to me. Mostly sad he didn’t take expert death magic. As that’s his bread and butter, and he already maxed advanced one, he’s waisting time not raising its cap. As for forbidden one, wish he would just take the three transformational feet’s. Seeing the combined effect of all three would be great. Over all disapointed by his selections, but not too much. Just mildly so. Seems he took an odd direction here and waisted valuable skills.

Updated version is great thanks. Just feel sad about not taking Expert Death Magick, but i guess it was hard choice

The abyss dosnt have eyes and the courts intent is pretty much always "enslave this mf." Nice idea but mostly useful for... Well everything except what you named

Horses are unlocked now too, as mostly he simply doesn’t have access to other skeletons take his first riftkin insects with an exoskeleton the current rift is ice monsters the mammoth and boars don’t fit the criteria for bones maybe more ice like not sure. Rats are the easiest thing he had access to in his sewer connected base, but he likely didn’t experiment. What else besides other humans have skeletons worth his effort or easy to find.

I still don't understand why he can only use human remains to turn into undead skeletons. Why is the unseen such racist? Lol will Tyron get another mystery by being the one to turn monster remains into undead soldiers!?

Peter

Crone's Gaze seems OP though, but I bet it could be mind shattering when interacting with the Abyss or the Court.

Rinoz Drain life feat and sap life skill seem redundant two sides of the same coin from different subclasses what’s the difference and in the death mage subclass when given three choices of skills and spells you don’t seem to specify what he chooses besides listing off the 3/4 available spells so does he pick those spells including sap life or does he choose a skill too the curse weaver or expert for example seem better as foundational improvements. Also ty for going away from sharpnel skeletons i like the idea of a master craftsmen proud of his work(if you really want exploding skeletons should be after craigwhistles skeleton industry is in full swing it would make more sense once it’s at a truly industrial scale) the vent is a cool alternative could’ve implications on it too like a erie voice from it occasionally a whisper from the vent

Runaway_Cactuar

I like the updated version better. The vent is a good replacement for what we had before. And it should be a good way to make those cheap Made-in-Cragwhistle skellies a bit more up to standard.

Probably vampire mind magic.

Oh hey, you updated the chap! Love the changes, there's only one that feels weird to me: you're telling me that Tyron was offered Expert Death Magick and didn't jump on it? It seems infinitely more useful, especially long term (so you'd want to get it earlier) than death fist. Death's grasp isn't even at level 10 yet.

Sheffi Ben-David

If you're looking for skill suggestions for Forbidden One, something like inducing madness in those whose minds he infiltrates might be a generic "skip" option, a very interesting/maybe too powerful one would be something to expand his own mental capacity in some way, and you could have a skill to offer gifts to his patrons to curry favor (i.e. blood for the court, souls for the abyss, flesh for Rot, etc.) without having to face them directly. If you're really feeling spicy, have it give him some minor immediate benefit as well.

Sheffi Ben-David

So for Death Mage feats, I see two directions he could go: efficient death II and empowered death II if they affect his minions, or efficient death II, curse tuner and either death sense or eyes of the grave if they don't.
