Chrysalis Book 2: Upping the Ante cover!

Just finished Book one and I loved it. The only problem was I ran out of book and need more. I hope book two comes soon.

I think the one thousand chapter should be a Mother Tree perspective. Having a Gandalf chapter would be cool but I think it would be better to learn the lore along with Anthony

While gambling is a nice theme I think a slot machine would fit better as it takes some "luck"

i agree, tho considering i think its around when anthony saves vibrant and meets crinis and by the 200th+ chapter he finds the queens dumb ass and her guards attacking his family and mother i think it wouldve been better for a make shift side view perspective of the middle of that battle just as anthony comes onto the scene all "WTF?!" just b4 hes about to act and slaughter the whole squad. i can still remember pieces and how awesome he dealt with them tho it was difficult he was just a bit above the mages and guards lvl and using skills and magic they at least werent expecting. :D also some time after vibrant and crinis ate a chunk of a mage, i think it was probably just a bonding moment between the 2, especially the little harassment vibrant gave the head guard tiny was sitting on nipping and snapping at his nose for a few minutes of payback. XD lol i think their probably the only or rare few that still have the human species dungeon knowledge. i wonder if and how thatll affect things in the future, should an ant eat 1000-10000 humans what knowledge will they gain from the dungeon. would it b crucial and even surprising knowledge we may not get otherwise. :)

Not sure where the second book starts in the story but to me they shouldn’t look like seasoned vets playing cards. Maybe more of a “what’s to come” style cover or a will the colony make it through style. Once they cover where we are now then yea I could see the council looking like this but not over cards, have a map laid out and war preps going on around them.

The poster is just meeh, doesnt fit in with the family focused theme of the story.. and artwork feels offf maybe cause of the gloomy setting of the dungeon. Its even slightly misleading from the focus of the story. So, the final verdict from me wiukd be, i dont like the cover at all
