Darkstalker

A couple chapters back the legion said they couldn't identify the mana Anthony used. They don't know about gravity magic?

Aertheron

I think it will not be a full blown war, only done skirmishes, maybe the golgari get a beating. But I think either there will be a peaceful resolution or a new wave that forces them to retreat and strengthens the ants. Also don't forget the legion losses power in the higher strata because of a lack of Mana.

Aertheron

Best mage culture we know of.

Rak87

Because the legion certainly never dealt with intelligent monsters in the depth able to dig better than they can smh. *the* legion defeated by monsters that can dig or tunnel collapse and have a bit of smarts ........ ? Same goes for Anthonys gravity bomb. He uses it once, and after that both the golgari and legion will have a bunch of mages follow him whereever to destroy every bomb before it hits, like the Garrallosh commanders did. You seem to be so stuck with the fact that they're smart ants that you forget the enemies aren't dumb either (jury still open for golgari warriors), and once the legion knows, that advantage is as good as gone

Pastor Joubert

The fight with Garolash showed that the race of mage lizards could weaken the gravity bombs a bit, but not stop them - and they are the best mage culture.

@Rak87 I disagree, the colony are a bunch of ants, and if they’re smart, then they will utilize that to their advantage. Ants can dog better than any other sapient species in the dungeon. It doesn’t matter how high tier the Legion soldiers they send are, drop say a mile of the dungeon strats on their camp, or over their heads as they try to invade and they are dead. The same for the empire of stone. The colony has the numbers and expertise to do that, and they should be setting up for, with the tiger stuff just distractions to keep the enemy occupied.

Runaway_Cactuar

Titus isn't a petty person, but when he wants to, he can be pretty frickin' petty haha.

Runaway_Cactuar

Fighting to the death has never been Anthony's preference. I think this war will be fought, then diplomatically resolved once the wave hits.

Rak87

Looking at how often the mana level rising was mentioned in the last couple chapters, a wave just has to happen. I wouldn't know how else the Colony even wins this when the enemies priorities won't shift away from them. Titus alone could probably tank 70k of the Colonly until he dies of natural causes and his office ridden wife seems to be able to literally 1hit him ... and they can and will call legonairies much higher level than Titus. Colony numbers don't matter against powerhouses like Titus, and they have more than the Colony. A shift in their top priority must happen. The Colony isn't ready for this war.

Khanalas

There's no way that Legion can't stop that. Hell, Anthony has no Affinity still. Golgari should at least have something helpful

Aertheron

Nice chapter, shows us a clear picture of how the legion operates on a slightly more political level.

Orion Dye

Top Priority!!!

Edgar maya

Damn just like that. Morelia? I think a wave is brewing the moment they engage

Apollo that sun person

Im calling the next, or a near, chapter is gonna go down like this: Mage ant with mind magic: General we have urgent information General ant: go on Mage: We have just intercepted a mental transmission.......between the enemy leaders General: (chokes on biomass) Cough cough TO THE COUNCIL QUICKLY!!

Nikita

And for the Colony that's very good.

Yeno Memevig

Golgari seem like horrible allies.

Anthony Romanov

I wonder once Anthony starts bombarding with Black Holes and leaders watch as their people start to turn into little balls. Will it be worth it?
