Some portion of the story so far leans too much of into the cringe trope of little kids over analysing every single decision tree doing a CBA. That's beyond unrealistic. While Weasley is a loser, he's right with respect to Hermione's overzealous attempts teaching. Canon Hermione is probably one of the most socially intelligent WW characters, yet both her and this version her behaves socially retardedly. If someone rejects your offer to help, especially when you've no obligation to do so, just stop.

Loved the chapter and I hope poor Hermione is alright since Harry didn't try to comfort her this time around. It would make me sad if she ended up dead because of Ron due to the troll.

I am not accusing the author of Ron bashing - the incident was utterly canon - but I see Mr. Weasley learning a very painful practical lesson in how to alienate people who could be valuable allies and why it is a very Bad Idea. I just hope Ms. Granger survives his lesson. A team of first years with normal school training brooms and limited experience versus a very competent team of upperclassmen . For everyone's sake, I hope this training exercise doesn't last the whole hour.
