The script base is now a completely different one
This will improve many things along providing a new feature
Now the filter is capable of handling new tonemapping settings
This will improve the way the filter processes color and more importantly light
It will be more noticeable later on evenings and on night time
Very dark situations are now handled much better
The filter will now adjust how much color grading it needs
During the day it will boost it for better colors but during nights and bad weather it will automatically lower it to prevent artifacts and weird coloring
Basically colors will look on point at any time
Oh the reflections...
Paint is so reflective and beautiful
Compare it with older versions / other filters and you´ll see
Thanks to some special sauce, paint now looks much improved
Simplified Advanced Adjustments and New Slider
The PP page of the Pure Config app is now simplified for an easier interaction
There is also a new slider called Sky Hue
This will help you tune the sky color for a more precise photo
The Ultra Photo Mode was deleted
Due to the filter improved graphics there was no need for that extra boost
Installation
Simply extract to the Assetto directory

Wanna ear a funny story ?
This will be the story of a massive code brown of mine while I was developing the filter
A few days ago I was doing my thing...
Changing some stuff on the filter, doing some coding, you know, nerd stuff xd
Was actually implementing the new base wich provides the new tonemap
Anyway, I usually change some lines and go back into the game to see if everything is working fine
This way I can easily find a bug and revert back the changes
So, updated some lines, fired up the game, everything is looking fine, no bugs
Little did I know that wasnt the case...
Prior to this updates I saved some settings on the Pure app ( an easier way to keep some changes I did earlier saved )
This was ultimately what blinded me
Because of Pure saving some of the settings it also hide a bug that appeared on the filter code
But I couldnt see anything wrong because Pure was stopping me from doing that
So, everything is working well to my eyes, and so I keep doing more changes to the code
I do some more things here and there...
Get back into the game to see if everything is alright
And boom, a bug
No problem, I revert the changes and it should fix it

I did revert what I did but the filter insists on looking weird

Im not sure as the bug wasnt fixed when I did undo on the filter code
This my guys is the begining of a massive code brown lol
In my mind im thinking, let me isolate the problem to find it and then fix it, logical
I remembered that Pure saved some settings a while ago
That could be it
So I go ahead and export those settings so I can save them and later apply them
This way I dont loose those settings but I can delete them for now in order to find the problem
And so I did, exported them and deleted them
As soon as I press delete something happens...
Remember that bug that was hidden by Pure ?
Yep, that mf really came up to me and said Hi !
So, I pressed delete and the screen goes black
And I mean black
Black frfr
At this point Im mildly panicking
Its funny now but at the time... hahah
So, screen goes black, but I think, let me import those settings back to pure to fix it
Imported the settings...
And nothing, screen still black
At this point I panic for real for real loool
Cause I don´t know where that bug is coming from and so dont know how to fix it
Since I dont know how to fix it I started doing lots of undo on the code to hopefully find and fix the bug, because I surely did something that caused the bug and didnt know
I pressed that undo button so many times... hahaha
Nothing !
Bug still there
Oh, btw, the undo button just works up until the point you opened the file
Meaning, if you save the file with an unknown bug in there, close the code to go eat and then open it when you come back, you will not be able to undo enough to fix the bug
I realised I did that so now Im panicking frfr x100
There is nothing I can do, I need to go and download beta7 again and go from there
Wich is better than nothing, but I did sooo many things after that that I was really hoping not
to do that
Now Im just sad lol, I start closing the coding windows, folders and everything...
Im just looking to my wallpaper in sadness just like the movies lol
In the corner of my eye I see something, looked at it...
My dumb ass made a backup file and didnt even remembered !!
I immediately changed to that code to see if it fixed it...
Its working now !!!
Saved soo much time coding
So I go ahead and compare the codes to see where is the bug
Guys, it was a pure Dário Bad Luck Moment lol
So, in the code there was a line that basically specified what tonemap to use as default
There were 4 options
I chose the 3rd one as it was the best
How can that cause a bug ?
Dont ask me, I still dont know lol, but it did
You may be thinking, oh, maybe that line has a bug of some sort
Bro, I tried all the other options
Tried the 1st one, worked
Tried the 2nd, worked fine
Tried the 4th, no problems
The only one that had problems was the one I choose
Arghhh lol
Anyway, fixed the bug, and manage to get the filter ready for today
What a story !
Moral of the story - Create a fuc&%#$ backup looool

Hey, to be honest VR is something I can't assure will be perfect as I don't have it. You can try, there are options to tune the image in the pp section of the pure app. Even if it doesn't look perfect as default those settings can help you tune the visuals to your liking
