What a great way to start 2024
There´s lots and lots of new features
Get ready, its going to be a long read haha
Starting with the 2 main new features
Photo Mode and Gameplay Adjustments

| Photo Mode |
As the name says it is something that will be very handy in photography
These settings can be found in the PP tab of the Pure Config app and can be accessed while gaming or in replay
It includes sliders that control
- Contrast
- Color Temperature
- Reflections
- Lights and Displays Brightness
- Ambient Light
- Sun Intensity and Speculars
- Sky Brightness
- Skydomes Contrast
- Bloom Boost
With these controls you can adjust pretty much every aspect of the photo without even exiting the game
This increases the photography potencial of Assetto as well as offering a bit of customization to the filter

| Gameplay Adjustments |
In the same Pure tab there´s also the Gameplay adjustments wich are intended to adjust the filter to everyone´s hardware
Calibration it is, wich will benefit alot VR users, but also a place where you can give the filter a bit of a personal touch
Settings include
- Bloom Boost
- Contrast
- Saturation
- Headlights Power
- Tail Lights Visibility
- Overall Ambient Light
- Reflections Brightness
Much easier and convenient to adjust the filter to everyone´s eyes
That´s it for this 2 first features

| Bloom Boost |
Other new addition to the filter, wich was already mentioned above, is the Bloom Boost
This new feature is very simple
It´s also located in the PP tab of Pure and essencially will allow you to control how much bloom effect you have
Default it´s set to 0.4 but you can decrease it for a cleaner look or increase it to have a more beautiful and dream like look

| Adaptive Skydomes Contrast |
Skydomes contrast is now dynamic
Contrast will go down as it gets darker so that you dont have a weirdly contrasty sky going into the night
It improves it´s appearance and overall driveability

| Fog Fix |
Now lets talk Fog
If you have been following the Development News you know I managed to fix the dark fog itself but was left with a major problem
The Display Brightness Stabilizer was not working right
It would sky rocket the brightness whenever it was foggy, but if I lowered the display brightness it would get to negative values at night, big no no
So, after lots of time trying to figure it out I managed to create a gigantic formula that works like a charm in every situation, big releaf it was haha
Essentially the fog now looks as it should and the displays also work well

| Sky Brightness Fix |
If you ever driven at very early hours, so early that the sun wasnt even on the horizon yet, you probably realized that the sky would become very overexposed and the sorroundings would get really dark
This would make it very hard to see anything until sunrise
Worry not my friends, it is fixed now
Looks much better now, much easier to see everything just like in real life
No more need to have sunglasses on haha

| Improved Contrast |
Contrast was also improved
There´s a slight bit more contrast now, and in foggy conditions it will also be boosted to get rid of that washed out look

| Auto Headlights |
The AI Lights in Pure were also tuned
The automatic headlight function is now working a bit better and more realistically

| VR Adjustments |
VR was never so easy to adjust
Because of the new Gameplay adjustments section VR is now much easier to get looking good
Now you can adjust the visuals to any VR headset
No need to edit the filter, just head on to Pure and adjust it, also, makes it much easier to revert the changes once you go to a normal screen again

| Sun Effect |
You know that effect that you get when looking at the sun ?
It´s much easier on the eyes now, you can keep the sunglasses away haha
Also, it now has the weather in consideration, if it is very cloudy and you cant even see the sun, the effect will be essentially disabled
No more weird effects in those situations

| Adaptive Color Temperature |
When in bad weather / during night time the color temperature will go colder as you dont have sun light in there
A detail that gives more immersion when driving in changing conditions

| Headlights |
Headlights are now a bit stronger
It´s now easier to see whats out there during night time, plus it is also tunable in the Gameplay adjustments section

| Night Time |
Talking about night time...
More optimizations on that, plus, the stars look a bit better
And the moon, oh the moon...
Im going to take so much photos of the moon, if you zoom into it it looks so nice

| Sun |
The sun algorithm was updated
Both intensity and saturation suffered optimizations to get a better look

| Ambient Light |
Ambient light, although also adjustable, was boosted for better visibility
This gets rid of darker areas where the sun cant reach

| Sol Optimizations |
Some optimizations for Sol users were done

great update !!!. At this moment, with my CSP settings the AC looks amazing. Especially at night, the lighting effects are amazing. The best new feature is the ability to adjust the image with sliders in Pure.

Hey, hum... I didn't change anything to do with the HDR , could that be the extra contrast ? If you can hit me up in discord Dario_ and send some screenshots maybe I can help better

Decided to give this a try, but everything is way too dark. Forced HDR or something? (I have tyurned OFF HDR in Windows and my monitor, as I feel it doesnt work well with everything I play). Could HDR be it, or hae I messed something else up? Literlarly just installed and applied the PP and boom, a dusk turns black. Trees at noon are mostly black eitha hint of green, ineriour of car, mostly pitch black (at noon..so not what I was after..)
