I don't usually go this into detail but I just felt like I had to for this one. I can't quite explain how, but something about this is so damn sexy. I think it has something to do with how her bare arm just disappears into that sea of ropes which serves to perfectly accentuate her breasts, as well as how she looks defiant yet worried about her helplessness at the same time. Truly excellent work on this one.

It adds an extra layer (pun intended) of depth to the image and allows a little bit more room for our imaginations to play out a scenario. I fully understand the daunting factor though. Great work as always.

I won't hold my breath for her to make an appearance in this series of sorts but I'm at least glad you recognise how pretty she is. Imo she easily stands up there with Cynthia, Flannery, Claire, and all the other famously hot Pokégirls.

Also, just so I'm being 100% clear and giving credit where it's due: I did absolutely nothing for the background in this case (the Clair pic). I just copied and pasted a painting someone else made 25 years ago.

I've been doing them slightly more often in the past couple of years than I used to (which was basically never). I'm always torn on them. They take up a lot of time and I know most people just want to see the character, but even a simple background can really enliven an image. Compare these two for example: WIP: https://www.patreon.com/posts/wip-marcilles-102425813 Completed image: https://www.patreon.com/posts/marcilles-102674625 The finished version just feels so much more lively and "real" compared to the background-less WIP. I could have saved myself hours by skipping the background and I'm sure people would have been happy just to see Marcille in a blank void, but I'm glad I put in the extra effort.

Clair was easily one of the most captivating Pokémon ladies for me playing through SoulSilver for the first time, and you've made her look oh so lovely, Jam! And I think the background is way too nice to not use as well, especially with the retro look. Also, I think she's realizing that she should've just given the player their gym badge instead of an opportunity to use all those Escape Ropes they picked up . . .
