Whats the most powerful creature you have ever met? Ilea asked. They were soon reaching the three hour mark when her little friend could leave its collective once more.

In a more conventional way pure force of nature who can level the biggest mountains with their spells, who can survive the most insane natural conditions, who has the densest mana?

Ilea nodded. You could probably form a cult or religion among humans or other sapient creatures. With that power and sheer density, Im sure a lot of people will follow, Ilea suggested.
No there is already an annoying level of reverence for our parts among those you call Dark Ones. It is why many of us choose not to travel among their lands, it explained.

Potentially. Yet we only have theories. If anything the ability is locked to us. There are ways to appear weaker to skills such as identify so be aware of that. At this point you should know anyway to trust more than just a skill like that.
I know, I know. I generally dont care much about levels anyway. Except for the fact that higher leveled monsters provide some good experience.

Ilea had certainly become more comfortable with the being in the last hours. By now she felt like she was taking part in an after work gossip session. The creature wasnt lonely, with its hundreds or even thousands of occupants but many seemed interested in talking to the lowly human.

Evolutions depend on classes and achievements. Yours being so insanely powerful, we do not expect another one until you reach level five hundred. Someone with vastly weaker ones might achieve one at three fifty or four hundred.
Ill probably cap my skills then ah well. Plenty to do and learn anyway, even if theyre at the highest level.

Pretty much. Not like you have groundbreaking knowledge to share at this point. Stories would be interesting but you lack the skill to tell them. Maybe a bard of some kind shall learn of your adventures.

Some of us, yes. Others prefer an accurate historical retell. This has been a debate for many millennia. Art or history.

As are many things. It does not however mean that no debate should be held. It saddens some of us that true poets and visionary minds rarely reach your level of power. Too conflicted.
They read and write instead of going out there to fight. Its the world itself that causes that problem. Not like you cant visit them in your weaker and more individual forms, Ilea said.

Am I technically immortal by now? I mean purely age wise. I know people kind of stop aging after level two hundred.
A certain level of Vitality is necessary to stop aging in humans. Two hundred is usually around the point where it slows down so much that your perception coupled with the way you experience the flow of time leads to the illusion that people do not age. Healing skills like your own help as well and with your level it is doubtful that age would be the end of you. Even if you decided to stop adventuring at this very moment.
You do know a lot. When is my birthday? I lost track when I came to Elos.

It was two months ago, on the fourth day. The year however is sadly lost, even to us. Our first millennia were shaped by strife and survival.
Oh? Interesting. Do tell. Were you born weaker than you are now?
Not in the sense you suggest. Our strength has increased since then but not to an exponential degree like your own. Humans have incredible potential, capable to be formed and shaped into what they deem useful and desirable. We did not have that luxury. Many may argue that the strength and ability we were born with is preferable to the potential your species possesses, coupled with your incredibly weak bodies and minds.
We have fought and battled, creatures long forgotten by the worlds and its inhabitants. Some laying dormant since time immemorial, others ripped to pieces as small as atoms, returned to the flow of mana itself. We have traveled the realms, many yet to become stable, elemental forces powerful enough to strain even our existence. We have witnessed yet have not yet understood. An infant, steered by instinct.
You saw the creation of the universe then? Was there a mother or father that formed you? A being maybe, like an architect or smith that formed the realms?
We witnessed creation, the forming of whole worlds and yet there was time before we were, there were worlds and realms even before we came to be. These are questions we have pondered on for many centuries and yet we lack the answers you seek. They are ever fleeting, folding and changing with each new piece we find to set into the puzzle that is space and time itself.
There was no mother or father. We are born of the arcane itself, formed by will and magic, the want to live, to observe, to experience. Many a creature has thought themselves the architect of life, some human like yourself. Yet their creations are incomparable to the vastness of space itself. They could not comprehend the terrifying depth of the universe and all its realms.
Are realms like dimensions? Or just planets within the universe? Maybe far away from each other.
Your realm has pondered questions that few humans here dare ask. It must have been a peaceful place. To allow for such luxury. The universe holds both physical planets and realms. They are all part of the same space and yet for you it would perhaps not seem so. You may find yourself able to travel to the moons and yet find yourself unable to ever reach another realm, no matter how many planets you visit. Only those touched by mana can thrive with life and only those are connected within the net of the arcane. It is why you have not appeared on a planet devoid of air or one made up entirely of gas.
Im not sure I understand. So there are different dimensions? But there are also planets.
Realms are not dimensions, they are merely fissures in space itself. Another view perhaps yet we find it impossible to explain such matters to one unknowing of space and its secrets.
True understanding of a topic shows when you can explain it to a novice, Ilea said with a smile.

We have no recollection of a place with that name, in any of the languages we comprehend. We suspect you are referencing a work of fiction with a humorous intent. You do that often. It is a little confusing. Perhaps you have traveled alone for too long, developing a need to joke and reference things only you would understand. As a way to cover your insecurities? Or perhaps you are simply intent to spread confusion and chaos in the minds of those too advanced to accept the concept of such meaningless thoughts.

Their birthrate is much lower than that of humans. Their life expectancy is close to five centuries if they remain at level two hundred.
Wait theyre born at level two hundred?
The level of a creature is merely a representation of their magical ability, sturdiness, strength as well as their other stats. Few creatures born in mana rich environments start without a class and at level zero. The domain in which an elf is born likely determines the first class it possesses. We have yet to meet an elf below the level of two hundred, thus our theory that they are born at such power. Changes are possible later on in life but their paths are potentially predetermined. More so than those of humans.
I guess. I mean it wouldnt make sense if all the monsters had to kill and level up to the respective strength they have, Ilea said.
Exactly. Which is why you should be cautious to approach a level two hundred human compared to a level two hundred elf. While the latter might be older and might have more actual combat experience, they tend to underestimate foes due to the power they have likely always known.
But theres always a class associated with level, right? You said a level two hundred monster is about as strong as a level two hundred human. Are monster classes just more powerful?
It is vastly more varied and complicated than that but essentially that is what you are looking at. Strong hide or plate armor can make a large difference in defense. An intrinsic and powerful magical ability can make a big difference in offensive power. Learning the usual levels of certain monster races as well as starting points of various sapient creatures will help you determine the experience and real strength of an opponent. You should however trust your instincts more than anything else, especially skills like identify. A false sense of both security and danger have caused many deaths as well as they have prevented achievements.
The fact that you faced Elementals shows that perhaps you should take a small step back before battling enemies far beyond your capabilities.

That you did. Back to your question about age. Elves beyond level two to three hundred likely share a similar fate to yours. Death by old age is a luxury only few will experience.
I expected as much. That means theres a bunch of really high level elves out there.
Potentially. Their lifestyles and competition amongst themselves as well as their war with the Taleen has kept their numbers low, culled even now compared to a thousand years back. Another ten thousand years and their race might very well be wiped off this continent.
Meaning there are more elves on another continent?

Sure it is. Do you know an order amongst humans called the Golden Lily?
We have not heard of such. It is a rare flower that grows only in the mountain range separating the human plains and the north. A specific density of mana is required, as well as a cold climate. If it is a secretive organization, we are not an authority on the subject.
I see. Would you mind identifying a couple of items for me? And telling me what they do?
Trinkets? Magical items? Of course. It is of special interest to a large part of us. Yet many creations lack depth and power, materials valuable and ancient, their properties wasted and fused into meaningless artifacts.
My necklace for example its a storage item.
Bound to your soul and mana. A rather dangerous prospect. It will drain resources from you to stay intact. The enchantment however is rather well done. Better than the bracelet you hold.
It would have melted ages ago without that connection. Is it dangerous to wear?
We know humans hold a strong connection to the material. It will not hinder you in a meaningful way. Should you ever disregard possessions entirely, we suggest you do not wear them anymore. If you must, as some of us does, manipulating space itself to create secure storage controlled by your mana instead of such crude devices would be preferable.
Doubt I could ever learn that. Theyve been working out well for me. Do you think I should reduce it to one item instead of two?
Considering your mana pool and the strength of your soul, the difference would be marginal.
Ilea looked through her possessions. Eh, its been so long. If anybody doesnt give a shit about it and might actually be able to tell me something, its this thing.
She summoned the Tungsten Key. She noted that it cost a significant amount of mana to get it out but with her improved pool, it didnt matter in the least. Found this in one of the Taleen dungeons ages ago. Any clue what it is? she said and held the pyramid shaped thing in her palm.
A key of great importance it seems to its creators. Various enchantments are placed to make it difficult to locate, difficult to store within an item such as yours. One of twelve it seems. What it opens we do not know. Should you be intent on finding more of its kind, this key could serve as a tool to locate its other parts. There are warnings engraved in the Taleen tongue.
What do they say?
They speak of great responsibility, of protecting the twelve keys, protecting their very race. It does seem like they found their end nonetheless.
Do you know about that? Havent met a Taleen.
The war culled their numbers. Many of them were proud and fought alongside their creations instead of focusing fully on their power. Those who disagreed and were tired of battle have long joined other Dwarven communities though their secrets remain hidden, most now buried within their tombs.
Can you help me locate the other keys?
We read runes, we do not forge enchantments. However it should be possible for a skilled human enchanter. Your strength should surely allow for you to find and meet one.

It is from the Descent, is it not? We believe it to be the Blood Manipulation agent used to spread the corruption. It is dormant in this state, its use versatile. A talented blood mage or alchemist might find use for it.
You dont think its dangerous?
Potentially. As is metal ore after it is worked by a master smith.
I get it, she summoned her crate of miscellaneous items and started looking through. Ilea held it up with her ashen limbs, unsure still what exactly the space around her was composed of. An ashen ball she formed and dropped vanished after it fell for a couple seconds.
Know what these are? she asked and showed the Fae her collection of figures she had found under the Azarinth temple.
The symbols are elvish. Each showing one of the domains.
Hmm eh most of my stuff isnt very interesting. Here the mind core of a Goliath Veramath.

Honestly she should probably grind the Mistwalkers for a while to lvl the 3rd class too as well as to get her skills up. Its bound to be weaker, although how much so we don't know, than her other 2 skills so it'll probably need a decent amount of lvling to be much useful. Either that or finally do the poison dungeon. That has been just sitting there unattended by her for a long time now!!

Personally, I think that she should at least grind the last few levels to 350 before she heads south so she can get her 3rd class. It shouldn't take too long between the crows and miststalkers.
Even more off topic?! ~ She could invest in setting up a new Azarinth order with her ideals, scrapping the old ones that got them killed when they were weakened. The old order was pretty polluted with their arrogance but they did work hard to protect Elos and provide healing from the sounds of it. Some random healing order is novel and helpful for the hand, but humanity in Elos needs the kind of power brought by undying arcane healers with the ability to survive all the fights to level 300+ without a fluke, even 500+ wouldn't be unreasonable. I reckon there's a non-zero chance the oracles predicted her and sent elves after her a few times in the beginning (50 at the river city and 195 or something after taleen dungeon; 240 or so when they invade that city again, going after high level humans) because arcane healers would be the one thing that could truly become a danger to elves from humanity. And aren't the elves finishing off the Taleen too which would be the azarinth equivalent for dwarves in terms of danger to the elves? They're clearly finishing off the other two so they can conquer Elos! They're not touching humanity now because they've got the victory in the bag already... Just think, all of her elf encounters are really coincidentally aligned as if they were tasked with dealing with people around her level and where she should have died; it's the classic wuxia MC BS survival and those oracles will have gone bald from anger by the time Ilea confronts them?! ~Someone stop my crazy conspiracy theory AH! Honestly the Azarinth story sounds similar to the 'blades' from skyrim, where the dragons are the Ascended, the Thalmor are the elves and the oblivion crisis is obviously the invasion for the sun theft. It's such a great fit with Ilea who stumbled upon the lost temple with bluegrass (sky haven temple) and became Azarinth (dragonborn) lol.

Well shortly visiting, relaxing for a bit, and setting up the healing order, while shocking maybe the golden Lilith or the other big healing order, might be some fun side projects from adventuring, and honestly showing her face from time to time and setting an organisation up to help humans as a whole, is in character and she is at the right point to do it know.

I lack any urge to revisit the south compared to more exploration and adventure. She might require new armor and a refill on food. She almost has no great further need for gold except to donate to charity or investing in the healing order. We have the sea and ocean, other Taleen dungeons and the search for dragons when she hits level 500 to look forward to.

I hope at some point she finds general skills that help her health and stamina the way Meditation 3rd stage helped her mana pool.
Can Ilea significantly improve the azarinth fighting style by now? The original style was similar to boxing/kick boxing if I recall, and it was for those with human strength, so it was based on two feet on the ground. She now has super human strength, and can freely move in 3 dimensions with three core, extra limbs and several more tendrils; her wings replace her legs in the air. It can definitely be perfected and coordinated for her ash class which gives her more limbs and massive mobility, and I'm guessing that what she's doing now is more intuition. She was a pro at heart so I was thinking she might care about style rather than winging it. Perhaps there's even a general skill for assisting 3d movements. ~ Bit off topic

the hardest part of that, is for the higher being to realize the lesser being is trying to communicate. Like we're amoeba to something, and it just doesn't even consider that the noises we make might have meaning.
I'll throw a guess out there and say that the third class will be related to heavy stamina usage, partly to round up her stats at some point.

Eeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhh, nah. Knight would be boring. Funny in a meta way...but boring. Also kinda redundant given her Sentinel class. You want something that allows her more utility instead of just a simple straight increase in FISTIN' POWA. That'll make her more versatile in combat to benefit herself or others. Or on the other hand improve her defensive game in the same manner. Personally I've been hoping she gets some kinda mage/nuker class since she has been envious of mages AoE kill fests for a while now. And having some strong long ranged attacks would fill out a weakness she has. Would also allow her to play 'keep away' in combat as a offensive strat against stronger opponents. Done correctly that strat would make her hellish to beat for even a decent sized group of lvl300+ Golden Lilies. Another fave would be a construction class of some sort so she could make her ash items permanent and use it to build whole homes, towns, or even fortifications. I don't think it fits her personality or her wants but it would be interesting I bet.

No. The best and most likely scenario is that the ascended left. If she does meet him though... He will just pin her to the ground, slow her massivly have better tp than her, cripple her tp, and Deal way more dmg than before since he held back last time. Doubt she could even escape if the 3d Tier is more powerful than indecated allowing her to fly modertly fast.

I hope her third class is Knight related. Especially with how annoyed she is being called one. That would give her a class in all 3 categories, healer, mage, warrior.
Now that she has 3rd tier Space Magic Resistance, I would like to see her go back and fight the Ascendant again to get Blood Magic Resistance, Void Magic Resistance, and Veteran to 3rd tier. She should be able to escape by herself now that his Space Magic cannot hold her. Then she can go fight the Soul Rippers. They have something like Void magic, but I hope they also have Soul magic. If she could get Soul Magic Resistance to 3rd tier, then she could start killing them to get her level up to 350 and get her third class (maybe get Arcane Magic Resistance capped at 3T30 from the storms, and wind resistance to 3rd tier and capped at 3T30 from the griffin before she goes back).

Hey I’ve loved these chapters. Really only it’s a matter of time until Illea encountered /something/ that can answer a lot of her questions, and it would be so incredibly frustrating if she passed on the opportunity. I think the balance you’ve struck here between enigmatic immortality, indulgence, etc. is great. It’s never made sense to me that immortal superminds have a hard time communicating on the level of their lesser petitioners.

There likely isn't an overall Metal Magic Resistance. To many different alloys to account for. Though going by the fact Silver Magic Resistance exists, and apparently Gold going by Evee's killer, there is likely one resistance for each metal element.

Probably subjective (duh) but the two system/magic-commentaries we got after Superfae (still can't stay serious with that one) confirmed that the messages were more her subconscious making sense of the changes were even more sarcastic than usual. Maybe it's Ilea coming to terms with it or it's her subconscious trying to tell her something. She has a fixation on stuffing her mouth full of food after all ;)

She likely is 'immortal' by this point. It only takes 200 Vitality to really slow aging in humans, plus she has lvl 200 and 300 Evolutions with healing capacity. Especially true when that light guy Maro knew is still around 3500 years later.
She did ask, and the answer was to keep going with resistences because of her 3 skill to deactivate her resistances

This chapter was fun to read. The banter between Ilea and the Superfae actually made me laugh at some parts. Going forward, I am excited to see what kind of third Class Ilea will unlock. I also wonder if it will start at level 350 as well.

Thanks for the chapter. I think everything has flowed rather nicely so far with her adventure into the dungeon. Even if it seemed a little dragged out at the end, after she solved the corruption problem. It was nice that she broke the 3rd tier and took the time to substantially increase her power level. I can see how the talk with the Fae collective kinda seems fillery but I definitely think it is appropriate for there to be a lull in action after the month or 2(not exactly sure how much time has passed since the first battle against the corruption) she spent near death in the dungeon.

You just can't please some people... Oh well, naysayers aside thanks for the chapters, they were both informedical and hilarative. It's ok if Ilea doesn't want to starve herself or go without sleep just for new general skills. The author just needs to throw her into a situation like when all the corrupted attacked, except worse so she goes weeks without food or sleep and gains the skills anyway ;)

I'm surprised she didn't ask how to get Steel/Metal magic resistance. Seems like it'd be important to her. Good chapter to me. Answered lots of lingering questions even if it didn't answer them all it was interesting to read. \/\/\/\/ Yeah I figured that but she should be able to get Steel resistance. Honestly I kind've felt she should've got it during that fight. That guy was destroying her with steel and she kept putting herself back together. She got Silver resistance for less it seems to me.

I think the draw to this story is more the adventure and the interaction between the characters to a lesser degree. The numbers not matching up and so on is more of an itch that can't be scratched than a glaring flaw. But eh, just my 2 cent's.

In response to some comments; exposition chapters aren't the best, sure. But relatively speaking this is the most we've learned across thousands of pages, 4 chapters really isn't anything. Lots of interesting potential is getting set up for the future so I don't mind. People are just annoyed because we have to wait for chapters instead of binge reading an already finished product.

I won't lie these chapters of her talking to the fae is interesting but it is also getting dull and boring especially since they refuse to answer the bigger questions. I wish she would leave already and get to lvl 350 and get that third class

It certainly was omegalul. I did enjoy the 437 more then the 438. By now it feels like naruto filler episodes of hunting the cookie monster- but I am sure you are fully aware of that. Oh 1 thing, you really should just ignore those boys which qq about things not making sence. Ima be honest, nothing makes sense. Illeas abilitys equal some sort of magic the gathering infinity jank chain. Reading her skills leveling up is nothing but redundant by now because there simply is no change xD. So if somebody says "oh harthane but 150 chapters ago you said she gets this and that per level" Imo just ignore it haha, by the time you start releasing on amazon etc none will care. I am curious where this is gonna go tho, lot of potential- of course also a lot of potential to fail now. Anyway, got an exam tomorrow and hoping to not fuck up my date, have a good day sir-
