You guessed book 3s cover. Book 2's is more like a Batman reference.

I love everything about this. Dantes and Jacopo front and center, with the variety of people groups around them, but uncluttered. Title font is brilliant, love the plants on the letters and the trail from Dantes, really tells you so much about the story visually. Book two should be him sitting on his throne :)

They're short but lean, I wasn't super specific on how I wanted the kobolds portrayed for the cover, so the artist went his own way.

Are all kobolds that short and stout? I thought they would by taller and lankier

That's fair. For the book 1 cover I wanted something that would be representative of the series as a whole. Most of my ideas for book 1 specific ones were spoilers. like Dantes riding a tree out of the Pit, him challenging Reivare on stage, etc

It's very good but it's not really a good fit in my opinion with the pit and him discovering his powers, look more like a book 2 cover
