CHAPTER ONE

Dr. Jayne and his support team hike through the jungle to the first excavation site. Jorge is eager to spend more personal time with Milo. (posted 02/24/23)

At the second excavation site, Milo has a rare opportunity to make contact with the Jungle Man. (posted 02/24/23)
CHAPTER FOUR
At the third excavation site, Milo has another encounter with the Jungle Man. Jorge becomes concerned. (posted 03/31/23)

Yes, he's a bit of a brute, and that's part of the fantasy. I see him here as a child-like caveman. Raised in the jungle, he lacks any basic social skills (a feral human). He takes what he wants, including Milo. Yet, Milo isn't turned off. Rather he is scientifically intrigued, and sort of subconsciously aroused by the situation. A very different sort of story than the usual romance, and a little cartoonish. The romantic drama will return in the next couple of series.

Tarzan is such a brute! Guess I'm too soft-hearted. The Jungle is not Windenburg, I know; but at the 2nd meeting, Tarzan could have been nicer to the archeologist. Maybe not romantic, but after all he'd found a partner, someone not out to capture or harm him. They were no longer strangers, and it was not a threatening situation where he had to be defensive. Even animals show recognition and appreciation towards their own species. I didn't see domination, I saw insensitivity. On the closing scene: How did the archeologist sleep through being tent-napped? Perhaps Tarzan fed him a bit of Datura leaf? Staging, scenery, etc. were on-point. The lighting was perfect, and set the mood.
