The roughest part of rewatching season 1 is knowing that Renee, who was presented as probably one of, if not THE most decent dude on the show(and Hoyt), is actually the villain the whole time... and that he wasn't even really Cajun 😐😭. Sometimes I'll forget and smile when he's on screen... until I remember and get mad lol...

The scene with Lettie Mae and Tara reflects how so many people who centered their very existence preying upon the Christian generosity, guilt and obligation of others when they are in need, seem to lack that same compassion they demanded and felt entitled to when it comes to their dealing with others. Lettie Mae played the role of Tara’s vampire her entire life, so I guess it is fitting that this story plays out on a show about vampires.

Yes! The Republican conventions, wherever they hold the conventions, they crash Grinder in that area! 😂. At the very least, Grinder usage spikes wherever Republicans gather. It's a proven phenomenon.

Not only is this show shining a light on the dark side of religion, it is kinda prophetic considering how much worse things have gotten with regard to religion manipulating stupid people for hidden purposes (stupid people being perfectly represented by Jason in this case 😹).
