Again, I always find it poetically ironic that Death and Destruction are the most personable and kind of all of the Endless. Also, now you see some of why Dream is the way he is. As with so much else, Dream acts only out of how he personally perceives things based on his own assumptions and general stubbornness. Regardless of what others actually say or do. Out of them all, Dream learned a little too well from his Father. He spent so much of his existence trying to be like Time. Cold and distant. But it never worked right. All of his mistakes were made in breaking out of that cold impartial mask he made for himself. But instead of actually learning the proper lesson from his mistakes, he would just crawl back into his facade of cold indifference.
