Rewatched the original PoTC trilogy recently and it still impresses me how layered the plots and character motivations are! They didn’t dumb down an amazing story for audiences, they said keep up & think or just sit there & enjoy the action/aesthetics, but we got a *vision*

Fun! I literally just brought my niece and nephew (12 and 10) over to watch the first one yesterday. They loved it. You can't not love Captain Jack. Though the third one was way too long and confusing.
