stumbled upon this YouTube channel that analyzes IWTV through video essays. There is some comparison to the novels, but all of it focuses on IWTV, so I wouldn't expect any spoilers for future seasons of books. There is a mention of Akasha in this video, but since she's already been mentioned, I don't consider that a spoiler. The video doesn't at all address WHO she is in terms of her significance to the overall story. I'm really sorry that this (Mindhunter) played out the way it did. I can hear your disappointment, to understand the character dynamics in advance of when everybody else did. Especially when those dynamics are central to the plot! But do stick with it. You won't regret it. (Again, so sorry!)
