I know we all go back and forth as to whether or not Louis should have insisted that Claudia be turned (selfishly - for his own feelings of redemption. I mean, his family had just basically called him the devil and she called him an angel, and his kill somewhat caused the fire that was going to kill her. I love Louis, by the way, so this is not me hating on him) and whether Lestat should have turned her (just because he loved Louis and is afraid to be alone), but even though she was used as a tool most of the time and put last most of the time, I think it might have been worth it. She was a more mature and formidable vampire in her short time than Louis and Lestat I think (though I love them both), and in the end she found Madeline. They didn't have a lot of time together, but she found someone who truly loved her for her, put her first, and chose her. If she hadn't been turned, she wouldn't have ever had a chance at that. UGH! I'M SO SAD.
