Way darker than AOT or HxH..Beserk deals with demonic shit, religion and unfortunately alot of SA..which would of been a big thing in those times but it doesn't change the fact that if you're a fast reader it can make it feel like every 3 hours someone is getting assaulted. Other good options or 20th century boys/ Monster, Goodnight PunPunpun( avoid if you are depressed) The Fable is really good too

Okay damn, i'll keep that in mind! But I do love that challenging/darker aspect of any good thriller. Even darker than for instance death note, AoT or HxH... etc? If so in what way?

First it would be a good idea to get a gage on what you can tolerate, it's pretty dark and some folks can't handle that subject matter..myself I took a 2 year hiatus from it after some events 🫠🫠

Kentaro really took his time with Griffith. The debates on this character span 2 decades lol and have not lost an ounce of the passion from the fandom. I wish we could get an acutally good anime adaptation. Also Farnese's character growth is one i really enjoy as well.
