Loved your reaction and insights as an EMT. Just as a tip. The episodes continue to be this heavy and only get heavier as the series go on, so find yourself a good “Palate Cleanser” to watch after each episode. I couldn’t sleep immediately after watching Hannibal so I would always watch an episode of Pui Pui Molcar lol. But it helped. I’d dream about cute guinea pigs instead of a man eating killer.

Because you've mention LOUIS and LESTAT and you are so RIGHT about that jajajajaja... About that conversation Hannibal and Will have at the beginning of the episode about Abigail and their responsability towards her, just because it's something curious; Bryan Fuller, the creator of Hannibal said in an interview that he based the dynamic between Hannibal, Will and Abigail on the family dynamic of Lestat, Louis and Claudia. Obviously it's not fully comparable because there are many important differences but I think it's funny that he found inspiration for this story in IWTV.

Finally able to watch. I remember the first time I watched this series....as much as I love mushrooms and they are a very good source of nutrients.....I could NOT eat them for almost a year after seeing this episode! 😖 Other than that, a very enjoyable time hearing your comments and seeing your reactions! 😄

I probably said it before, but Bryan Fuller pulled inspiration from Lestat and Louis for Hannibal and Will so seeing those parallels just shows how on top of your game you are 🏆 You also mentioned how damn charming Hannibal is - just like Lestat! I love my magnificent bastards 🥰 Also what a great thumbnail, "future you is thanking me" while dude's literally getting shot 😱

The jump scares are not a frequent occurance in this show but they hit when they happen lol. You have a great read on the characters so far, but even with the knowledge of the source material this show takes some crazy turns. You can tell by the 1st season that the network really wanted this show to be episodic, but the thread of evolving storyline takes over. 10:00 Hobbs and Hannibal have never worked together. Hannibal calling him was only a “professional curtesy”. He gave Hobbs a chance to run out of respect for a fellow cannibal, but also, Hannibal probably just wanted to see how Hobbs would react. The nine brown hair girls were Hobbs’ victims. And the one in the field was Hannibal’s (aka the Minnesota Shrike’s) victim, that he only killed to “guide” Will to the real killer. ;)
