It’s actually closer to what happened in the book but yeah, I had the same reaction haha. I like the show version better because Louis is also involved in the “murder” and there is much more emotional pay-off.

the rant was me taking 10 mins out of the video to pull up his performance of Less Grossman ( tropic thunder) and say he is basically given the same performance mean guy with a funny streak. He just comes of really really one dimensional and his dialogue doesn't hit for me personally. Especially not to compare but when I've already seen what Sam did its hard to see a big name actor mail in a performance like this one.

I’ve admittedly never seen this movie because I can’t stand Tom Cruise (nobody come for me please) but…I do live for “good bad” movies and your commentary so this might be a bit of me. Sam Reid has forever ruined us for Lestat. He just IS that diva.

Even though it's cringe, I have to admit, I couldn't even imagine Tom Cruise as Lestat before I saw this movie. After seeing it, I have to admit, he did better than I imagined before I saw it. For whatever that's worth...(still not a big fan of this tho).

This movie I probably watched too young, but it really formed my taste. Now it’s so nostalgic for me and I’ve seen it so many times, I laugh at it too. Regardless Kirsten dunst is so good as Claudia for a 10 or 12 yr old? And it’s the only time and movie I find Tom cruise attractive! Enjoy

The show clears. It's funny cuz for a long time.. the movie was the best we had on film. Now the show is so good. I don't even mess with this movie anymore. And FORGET about Queen of the Damned.. (BTW don't watch that yet. Even though it isnt accurate. Might have spoilers for show)
