Why couldn't GSP finish Dan Hardy?

Was it Dan Hardy's toughness and flexibility that saw him survive numerous GSP submission attempts? Or was the arguable MMA G.O.A.T making technical mistakes in his hunt for a finish? William is there to help me find the answer to that very question.

GSP’s def the GOAT at ww. I actually think he beats Woodley and Usman, but probably struggles with Covington oddly enough
