Sorry for the delay I've had to draw this a little bit at a time because I've been having trouble with my eyes again recently. Well, one eye in particular. And yeah, I'm about to look into getting that finally checked out. I took some time away from screens the last couple days and it's gotten a bit better so hopefully a couple more will set me back on track. Though I need to up my eye exercise game and take more breaks while drawing.
I had wanted to do another page this month since some part of my brain doesn't consider splash pages like the first page of this chapter a "page" despite them taking just as much work as any other page. But these three will have to do for this month.

Yeah I kept looking for reference but it was all so curated and artificial. Realized a lot of the old country stores I've been in probably haven't changed much in decades aside from the stock. And even then...

I love the detail in all the signage...I know it's in the past but this could be any modern gas station-slash-post office-slash-grocery store in the south. Reminds me of going to my grandpa's to go fishing.
